The call for the Prix de Quervain is now open and this year’s prize will be awarded to outstanding research on topics relating to high altitude. The funding organisations are the Swiss Committee on Polar and High Altitude Research (SKPH), the Commission for the Research Station on Jungfraujoch (SKHFJ), and the Swiss Foundation for Alpine Research (SFAR). The award honours students and early-career scientists for their outstanding MA, PhD or Postdoctoral works and will be presented on 5 September during the Swiss Polar Day.
The call is open until 14 March 2025 and we invite all students and early-career researchers to visit the Swiss Commission for Polar and High Altitude Research webpage for additional information and to submit their application.
