Exchange workshop with Antarctica New Zealand
Following the signing of a joint Memorandum of Agreement between Antarctica New Zealand and the Swiss Polar Institute, the two organisations are pleased to invite Swiss and New Zealand scientists to an online workshop exploring opportunities for collaboration in Antarctic research, as well as in polar and high-altitude environments more broadly.
Building on this new framework for collaboration, the workshop will bring together researchers from both countries to exchange perspectives and identify shared priorities. Participants will have the opportunity to give short pitches to showcase their work, highlight ideas for collaboration, and connect with potential partners.
The online workshop will take place on Thursday 23 April 2026, from 10am to 12am CEST / 8pm to 10pm NZST.
