International field and summer schools are a great opportunity for students to benefit from high-quality teaching, enhance their field experience and network with other students and early-career researchers with international backgrounds.
The SPI supports the cost related to the participation in field schools and training programmes for master’s and doctoral students. The (non-exhaustive) list of field and summer schools 2022 has recently been renewed.
Please note that given the current context, some polar programmes may change their format and timeframe, or even be cancelled. Have a careful look at the website of your field school to be aware of any changes that may occur.
