Echoing the World Environment Day, the BNP Paribas Swiss Foundation and the Swiss Polar Institute are hosting an evening debate event to explore with a panel of experts the pressing matters of the Poles’ general warming.
For this debate we are delighted to welcome experts on polar issues with Konrad Steffen (Scientific Director of the Swiss Polar Institute), David Walton (Chief Scientist on ACE expedition, British Antarctic Survey), Mike Sparrow (Senior Scientific Officer, World Climate Research Programme and former Executif Director of Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research), Michael Lehning (specialist on snow and ice, Prof. EPFL / WSL Davos) and Iris Thurnherr (ETH Zurich).
The event will take place on Thursday 7 June 2018 from 17:30 to 19:00 in Geneva.
