The European Commission recently launched a public consultation in order to update its Arctic policy, including in the fields of research, technology development and climate change. Inputs are open to a broad range of stakeholders, including academia. The latter are invited to give feedback in order to suggest ways to enhance European research efforts in the region. This is a great opportunity for the Swiss research community that is active in the Arctic to contribute to these important discussions, particularly considering the Swiss participation in the Horizon 2020 programme.
