ALPS Swiss Alpine Museum presents a major new exhibition that delves into the heart of the transformations defining our era and examines disruptions, dilemmas, and contradictions Greenland and its inhabitants are experiencing at present.
The cinematic exhibition explores the current big issues of climate change, globalisation, tourism, energy transition, to name a few. Immersive projections serve as a counterpoint to around thirty filmed interviews with Greenlanders whose voices invite visitors to reflect on daily realities, challenges and shared experiences. The installation also places a particular focus on the vibrant local music scene.
A varied programme of accompanying events will provide further insights and will allow to (re)discover the richness of the perspectives shown in the exhibition.
