Workshop: data management in the field

An online workshop on Wednesday 29 September, organised by APECS Switzerland and the Swiss Polar Institute, will discuss good data management practice and provide tips on how to plan and undertake data management in the field.

Topics will include:

• storing and backing-up data
• file management
• recording metadata
• hand-collected data, automated data collection and sample collection
• planning data management before the field trip, in the field and what to do upon return.
